In 2006, when I became a teacher, I was not a teacher in the traditional sense. Rather, I had a business degree and work experience in various areas of marketing. More importantly, I was an entrepreneur myself, raised in a family of entrepreneurs.

I was interested in the program because I have always wanted to be my own boss and be on my own schedule. When I applied to the program, I hoped to learn leadership skills, time management, and self-trust.

EntrepreNEW is being developed as a mechanism to readily transition high school students into entrepreneurial careers. By creating immersive environments that provide students with opportunities to build power skills and robust networks, they are positioned to chart and navigate new paths to success.
