EntrepreNew is proud to announce that Emily Kilgore-Knight, a teacher in the Woodridge Local School District, has been recognized by Walt Disney World Resort as an exceptional educator who is passionate about using the tool of imagination in the classroom.

In 2006, when I became a teacher, I was not a teacher in the traditional sense. Rather, I had a business degree and work experience in various areas of marketing. More importantly, I was an entrepreneur myself, raised in a family of entrepreneurs.

EntrepreNew is an immersive program that helps students develop real world entrepreneurial skills and an entrepreneurial mindset in an innovative high school classroom setting. Developed by the Woodridge, OH Local School District in partnership with the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Burton D. Morgan Foundation and the Six District Educational Compact, the program is now administered by Young Entrepreneur Institute at University School.
